WHAT?
With functionality at its core our mission is to make hi-vis wear part of everyday life. We aim to increase safety for road users by providing safe, stylish, and affordable hi-vis products for all the family.
HOW?
Create a new series of high-visibility products for all families which is functional, stylish, and multi-purpose to surmount the barriers people have towards dressing in a visible manner.
WHY?
In 2013, 33 cyclists were killed in accidents, that involved a motor-driven vehicle. If the cyclists were dressed in clearly visible colors, they might have been able to save them. Many people tend to have hesitations regarding the use of clothes with reflexes and fluorescent colors. How can we surmount the barriers people have towards dressing in a visible manner?

Field Study
Data collected around people’s visibility while moving in traffic.
Location: Intersection between skamlingvejen & Sonder Ringvej.
Data collected around children’s visibility while commuting to school.
Location: Near the gate of Realskole Kolding.
Define target group — Children
Through all the investigations we’ve conducted, we found out that there were more challenges and opportunities for children’s visibility. We decided to focus on cyclists aged 10-13.
